Answer
If you have misplaced an ABA banking file, forgotten to upload it, or need to re-download it with a different processing date, the online app includes a dedicated tool to regenerate any previously created direct entry file.
To regenerate an ABA file in the online app, go to Tools >> Regenerate ABA File.
- On the first step, select the type of file you want to regenerate:
- Show Super ABA Files — lists previously created files for SuperStream super contributions.
- Show Pays/Wages ABA Files — lists previously created files for employee wage payments.
- Select the specific file from the Direct Entry Deposits history list that appears below.
- If you need to change the processing date on the regenerated file, tick Update Processing Date? and enter the new date.
- Click Next to proceed to the preview step.
- On the ABA File Preview step, click Preview to review the payments included in the file. You must preview before proceeding.
- Once satisfied, click Next to reach the Download ABA File step.
- If your bank requires a balancing debit entry, tick Include Debit Entry?. If you are unsure, leave it unticked; you can regenerate again with it enabled if the bank rejects the file.
- Click Download ABA File to save the file to your computer, then upload it to your online banking portal as usual.

If you need to build a new ABA file from scratch rather than re-download an existing one, go to Pays >> Direct Entry for wages files or Super Fund Deposits >> SuperStream Mailbox for super files.
