The Program

Lightning Payroll is a subscription-based program offering either monthly or annual billing. Subscription fees cover ongoing taxation updates, program improvements, bug fixes, and access to telephone and email support.

Renewal is based on the subscription term you select (monthly or annually). Prices are stated on our website and may be updated at any time. Any price changes will take effect upon your next renewal.

The information stored within the program remains the property of the subscriber at all times. Intellitron cannot access this information without the subscriber’s knowledge and consent, and only for the purpose of providing support.

Prior to the expiry of your subscription, Intellitron will send renewal reminders to the registered email address. These reminders are sent at 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before expiry for annual subscriptions, and several days prior for monthly ones. A final notice is sent on the date of expiry. Once expired, pay processing functionality will cease. However, all data will be retained and reporting features will remain accessible for closing off the financial year and meeting ATO requirements.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with Lightning Payroll, please contact our support team and we will do our best to resolve the issue. If a reasonable resolution cannot be reached, we will cancel your subscription and issue a full refund — provided this occurs within the first 30 days of your subscription start date.

Beyond the first 30 days, no full or partial refunds will be issued, except in accordance with warranty clause 3.1.2 of the End User Licence Agreement.

Upgrading or Downgrading Your Subscription

When first subscribing, you'll choose a licence tier based on the number of companies and employees you need to manage. If your needs change, you may upgrade or downgrade your subscription.

To upgrade mid-term, the unused value of your current subscription will be deducted (pro-rata) from the cost of the higher tier, and a new subscription term will begin from the date of upgrade.

Downgrading is only available at the end of your current term. No refunds will be issued for unused time when downgrading. Renewal pricing for all tiers is available on our website.

Support

Technical support is included with all active subscriptions and is available via email or telephone. Support is only offered to users with a current, valid subscription. Assistance is available Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm QLD time, excluding public holidays.

While we will make reasonable efforts to assist, we do not guarantee resolution of all issues via telephone or email support.
