Lightning Payroll includes short tutorial videos covering how to set up your company and how to process a pay run from start to finish. These play automatically the first time you log in and the first time you open a pay run, but you can watch them again at any time.
Opening The Video Library
- Log in to the Lightning Payroll online app.
- In the menu down the left-hand side, scroll to the Support heading.
- Click Tutorial Videos.
The Tutorial Videos window lists every video available to you. Click a thumbnail to play it, then click All Videos to go back to the list.
Which Videos You Will See
- How To Setup Lightning Payroll — setting up your company, employees and pay settings ready for your first pay run.
- How To Process a Pay Run From Start to Finish — editing pays, entering leave, emailing payslips, paying wages and lodging your pay run.
The videos are matched to the company you currently have open, so an Australian company and a New Zealand company each get the edition relevant to them.
Watching a video from the library does not stop the automatic pop-up from appearing on a screen you have not visited yet.
