Answer
A SuperStream message that was created but never sent can be deleted from the SuperStream Mailbox in the online app, so an abandoned draft does not sit in the list. Messages that have already left your software cannot be deleted.
Delete the message
- Go to Super Fund Deposits and click SuperStream Mailbox.
- Find the message in the list. Use the date and status filters to narrow it down if needed.
- Click Delete on that row.
- Confirm at the Delete unsent message prompt, which warns that this cannot be undone.
A confirmation appears once the message is removed. The deposits themselves are not deleted, so the super remains available to include in a new message.
When the Delete button is greyed out
The button stays visible but is disabled for any message that cannot be deleted. In the online app only messages with a status of New or Unsent can be removed, and only while they have not yet been uploaded to Ozedi. An unsent message that has already reached the gateway is kept so its response is not stranded.
Anything that has been sent, completed, failed or partially processed cannot be deleted. If you need to undo a message that was already sent, mark it as failed instead. See How Do I Manually Fail A SuperStream Message To Resend It?
Please note the desktop app is slightly more permissive. It also allows a message with a status of Failed Validation or Failed Send to be deleted, because neither has left your software.
