How Do I Disconnect or Re-Connect Farm Focus?

You may need to disconnect Farm Focus if you want to link a different Farm Focus account, if your token has expired, or if you are troubleshooting an export problem. After disconnecting, you can reconnect at any time by completing the OAuth login flow again.

In the Desktop App

The Disconnect Farm Focus button appears on the Review step of the Farm Focus export wizard.

1. Open the Farm Focus export wizard from the Pays screen by clicking the Farm Focus export option.
2. If you are already connected, proceed through the pay selection step to reach the Farm Focus Review screen.
3. Click Disconnect Farm Focus at the bottom of the Review screen.
4. Confirm the prompt ÔÇö Are you sure you want to disconnect Farm Focus? ÔÇö by clicking Yes. The token is removed and the wizard returns to the authentication screen.

To reconnect, click Connect to Farm Focus on the authentication screen. Lightning Payroll will open your browser to the Farm Focus login page. After you have authorised the connection in your browser, return to Lightning Payroll and click Check For Token. The status label will update to confirm the connected farm.

In the Online (Web/Mobile) App

The Disconnect Farm Focus button is available on both the pay-selection step and the review step of the Farm Focus export flow.

1. Navigate to the Farm Focus Export section from the Pays area.
2. Click Disconnect Farm Focus on either the Select Pays To Export To Farm Focus screen or the Review Pay Run Before Export screen.
3. A confirmation modal appears ÔÇö Disconnect Farm Focus? This will remove the Farm Focus token and return you to the Pays screen. Click Disconnect to confirm, or Cancel to go back.

To reconnect after disconnecting, click Connect to Farm Focus. The app will redirect you to Farm Focus in your browser to complete the OAuth authorisation. Once authorised, return to the app and click Check For Token to load your token and farm details.

After Disconnecting

• The stored Farm Focus token is deleted from Lightning Payroll. No previously submitted invoices are affected in Farm Focus itself.
• If the disconnect is successful but the remote revocation in Farm Focus fails, a warning is shown. The token is still cleared locally, so you can reconnect immediately.
• Your GL code mappings are not affected by disconnecting ÔÇö they are retained and will still be in place when you reconnect.
