Answer

AUSkeys have now been replaced by the ATO Machine Credential for desktop users, and by registering an SSID for online/mobile users. The AUSkey service was closed down on 27 March 2020. Please see here for information on getting a machine credential if you are a desktop user, or see here for information on registering your SSID if you are an online/mobile user.

Lightning Payroll online (web-based) version requires a modern web browser, with Javascript enabled. No software installation required when using this method. When subscribed you may use both desktop and online versions interchangeably.

*Legacy versions will not be receiving any future updates. They should not be used after June 2024.
