Answer
The roster CSV export produces a spreadsheet-style file covering the current pay run. Each row represents an employee who has at least one rostered shift, and each column represents a day in the pay period. Cells show the shift description, start time, and end time. Employees without any rostered shifts in that pay run are not included.
In the Online (Web/Mobile) App
- Open the Rosters section from the left-hand navigation.
- Navigate to the pay run you want to export using the Last Pay Run or Next Pay Run buttons.
- Click Export CSV. The file downloads immediately to your browser's default download location.
The downloaded file is named Roster_YYYY-MM-DD_HH-mm-ss.csv, where the timestamp reflects the moment of export.

In the Desktop App
- Go to the Rosters section using the sidebar.
- Navigate to the pay run you want to export.
- Click the Export CSV button in the toolbar. A save dialog appears ÔÇö choose a file name and location, then confirm.
- A confirmation message appears once the file has been written successfully.
What the File Contains
- The first column lists employee names, sorted alphabetically.
- The remaining columns each represent one day in the pay run, labelled with the day name and date.
- Each shift cell shows the shift description, start time, and end time.
- Days with no shift for a given employee are left blank.
- The last day of the pay run period is not included as a column (the range covers start date up to, but not including, the end date).
